Dripping Wet, and in Switzerland

No more “buonjiorno”. I probably wasn’t pronouncing it correctly anyway.

With lighter packs and a fantastic lunch at Refugio Elena, we made short work of Grand Col Ferret. Unfortunately, we were in rain and fog for the whole day. We had to mostly imagine the views.

Here we are with our Quebecois friend, Simon. You can see that the rain has not washed the smiles from our faces.

Simon stopped at La Puele, and we continued to La Fouly. We plan to meet up tomorrow at Relais D’Arpette (near Champex) and catch each other up about our respective “adventures”.

Here is our accommodations for the night. Hopefully some our gear/clothes dry out overnight.
